VISCED partners meet again to discuss research activities and workpackage progress
Submitted Tuesday, May 10, 2011 - 08:17VISCED partners met on 27 and 28 April 2011 in the accommodating MENON offices for a two-day meeting to discuss the progress on the main workpackages including the research activities. Partners discussed their research work and the public wiki which will contain all research results. Agreements were made about the classification of schools and colleges. Progress was made in setting up the International Advisory Committee and future project and committee meetings were discussed with a view on dissemination and network opportunities. During this productive meeting, the public launch of the VISCED website was also announced.
HERMES tests the options for two way Internet access via satellite in Greece
Submitted Monday, February 25, 2008 - 21:36ATiT staff recently spent several days in Greece providing support to the HERMES project funded by the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. HERMES is a pilot project providing two way interactivity based on DVB-RCS technology to remote Greek schools, many of them located in areas for which satellite is the only access option possible. This project will contribute to a national roadmap on how schools Internet access can be provided on a nationwide basis.
European Networking and Learning for the Future

The EuroPACE Approach". Online Educa Berlin 2007: All Set for the Main eLearning Event of the Year!

With a packed agenda including several new elements, OEB07 looks set to break all previous records in terms of quality and participation.
