The second meeting of the International Advisory Committee of the Re.ViCa project took place in Berlin on 3 December 2008 right before the Online Educa Berlin conference. This meeting brought together international advisers and experts from 15 different countries including several non-European countries; Canada, Kenya and South Africa. The purpose of the meeting was to assess the progress of the Re.ViCa project which is building a set of information resources around the topic of Virtual Campus including a very comprehensive wiki which will be made available to the public in 2009. The date has now been set for the International Advisory Committee of the Re.ViCa project on Virtual Campus to meet again in Berlin on December 3rd, right before the annual Online Educa Berlin conference. This committee, bringing together experts from around the world on the topic of Virtual Campus is providing input to the partners in the Re.ViCa project who are busily creating an extensive wiki on the topic of Virtual Campus, highlighting various initiatives and experiences aimed at exploring the factors that influence the creation of a successful Virtual campus.

All roads lead to Berlin on Wednesday 28th November for the annual Online Educa Berlin conference. With a packed agenda including several new elements, OEB07 looks set to break all previous records in terms of quality and participation. Poised to attract more than 2000 participants from 92 countries, its a good opportunity for us in ATiT to get togeher with old friends as well as meeting new people.
