MEDEA2020 project gets off the ground
Submitted Wednesday, December 8, 2010 - 11:21The first meeting of the new MEDEA2020 consortium took place on 27 November in Brussels. MEDEA2020 is a dissemination and exploitation project funded under the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme to build on and further exploit the work of the MEDEA Awards. It will do this by expanding the reach of these awards to include Italian, Spanish and Polish speaking practitioners and the organisation of workshops in educational media production in France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Ireland as well as by organising an annual conference on Media & Learning.
Kick-Off of MEDEA:EU Project
Submitted Tuesday, February 3, 2009 - 21:32The first meeting for the MEDEA:EU project took place in Roosbeek on 2-3 February involving the three project partners, UNI-C in Denmark, IADT in Ireland and ATiT in Belgium. MEDEA:EU which is supported under the Lifelong Learning Programme is a dissemination activity aimed at making the MEDEA Awards available to a wider European audience.
The project will do this by making information about the MEDEA Awards available throughout Europe through a network of National Contact points as well as by making materials including the MEDEA web site available in French and German as well as in English.
MEDEA:EU will also support a European Collaboration Award, aimed at recognising excellence in the use of multimedia in Education realised through cooperation between organisations in 2 or more countries. More information about MEDEA:EU will be available from 28 February from the MEDEA web site.
ATiT joins the Re.ViCA Project
Submitted Friday, November 23, 2007 - 10:28Together with partners from 7 different European countries ATiT launches the Re.ViCA Lifelong Learning Project that will look at virtual campus experiences across Europe. This project, chaired by Europace, will conclude in September 2009 with the publication of the Virtual Campus Manual aimed at regional, national and European political decision makers, advisors, government and administration, education authorities, e-learning industry, research community and Virtual Campus management.
